Halloween and pets

While everyone thinks that Halloween is good fun for all the family, think of that your pets are also a part of the family and that their pet health care should be a circumstance when you plan the celebrations.

If you are going to be hosting a Halloween party, see how the sound and disturbance could impact pets, peculiarly cats and kittens. It is better if you leave your pets away from the hoo-hah in a noiseless part of the house until things calm down again.

Likewise, dogs and cats might be drawn in to playing with the wrappers of candies and chocolates. If your pets swallowed these there could be inner harm to the digestive system and certainly some irritation.

Finally, remember that it is not only pet health care which is under warning at Halloween if you have animals around. If you have decided to use some candles for skittish decorations then be sure to place them somewhere where dogs can’t knock them over, hurting themselves and possibly causing a fire at the same time.
