Avoiding the Holiday Rush

Hubby and I will be staying at home during the holidays. This is going to be our first time together. For the last two Christmas and New Year, we spent it either at my parent’s or my parents in law house. But now it’s going to be different.

Since I am pregnant and I am going to pop anytime, my OB doctor advised to avoid long hours of travel. I also did not shop for Christmas presents this year as I don’t have time, patience and energy to do so. Yes, I am a lazy preggor.

Anyway, I saw baby again yesterday via 2D Ultrasound and I am so glad she is in proper position, head down.

Merry Christmas!

Baby in the bun

The baby inside my belly has been moving a lot throughout the day and even when I am sleeping at night. My last visit to OB was great and my OB doctor made a request again for ultrasound for next week to check the baby’s well being for the last time. I had three ultrasounds all in all throughout this pregnancy. The hospital where I want to delivery my baby has medical computers, which is amazing.

See you next post.

Hospital Ocular

As my due date getting near, husband and I thought of having a tour at the hospital where we choose to deliver my first baby. We took a taxi cab and went to the hospital for less than 10 minutes. Their facilities were fine. The delivery room is on the 5th floor and we saw a couple of new moms and newly born babies at the elevator. We also checked the rooms.

We were there just for few minutes as we needed to go back fast before 7PM because we need to pay our monthly bills like electric, cable TV and telephone.

We thought of buying a new set of curtains for our bedroom but we did not have enough cash to spend 1k for a single curtain. Well, maybe when hubby goes out again.

Talk soon, toodles!

Gloomy weather today

I have been wanting to rain for a week now because I am pregnant and all and my estrogen is fluctuating that causes me some uncomfortable hot flushes. I am literally hot especially night time. I damp my skin using cloth on my arms, neck, chest, and my face. I want this baby out so my life will be back to normal once again. But hey, I know my life will change forever because of the baby.

Anyway, my hubby is reading some reviews about material handling. He suddenly wants to go to hardware and buy manly items like a hammer, saw and some paints.

Will paint the baby’s room in pink, that’s why. Hr.

MGS’iing

My husband loves to play video games. He has Playstation 1 to 3. Now, he is playing Metal Gear Solid (MGS) and he played this game and finished it many times already. He said this game is one of the best. I was like, “Okaaayy.” hehehe. I wanted to watch my favorite TV series but maybe I will just wait for my turn until my husband gets tired of playing his favorite video game.

I love the weather today.

Baby items!

For Busser Jobs, my mother-in-law dropped by here in the unit to fold and take out some boxes from the baby’s room to give space for the baby’s crib. She also bought some clothes, blankets, and items for the upcoming new born.

We are starting to teach our house cat to avoid the room or maybe take her to a vacation for a while. But it’s gonna be sad. What to do?

Do you smoke?

I have never smoked in my entire life, but wait, I did when I was in college but that’s just once and never finished a stick. It is funny to realize now that most of my friends in college smoked and went to leaf cigar bar but I was not influenced by them at all.

Maybe my family was such a really had a big impact in my life when I was growing up. No one in the family smoked so it was never on the list.

How about you, do you smoke?
