Noisy workers

So you know we are living in a condo building. Everything is perfect until the universe decided to build another metal buildings beside our building. Now they’ve reached our floor already and it is just noisy as hell. Also, the construction workers are also noisy and annoying. Hubby bought a new set of curtains to cover us so our privacy will be kept. The curtains are perfect but the noise is just pain in my ears.

Anyway, I hope they will reach the 40th floor so the noise will be lessened at least. Usually, we just go out of the unit so we can escape from this crazy noise that they create outside.

Time to go!

Weather update

It is nice that it has been so cold for the last few days even the time strikes at noon. This is rare where I am right now. I am just having a good time with my baby while nursing her and without thinking to turn on the AC. This would be a great bonding moments for me with the baby.

My daughter just turned 1 month old now and she is getting cuter and cuter each day. She weighs 4kg according to the last Pediatrician checkup. We are about to see her doctor again this coming Friday for a couple of vaccines.

For the meantime, let’s all squeeeee!

Analog TV shopping

Husband would like to buy a new analog tv for our bedroom. I was like, “WHAT THE?” lol. Actually, we really need a couple of television in our house because sometimes the TV shows that I love to watch he does not like. He loves to play his video games and me not.

Where can we buy a cheap but good quality TVs? Technology keeps on changing and we just can’t keep up.

Next to buy: Iphone!

Babies are adorable but…

Babies are adorable but they love to fart and poop. LOL. My daughter poops few times a day or whenever after I feed her. Farts are just loud as loud as mine.

She is now almost 4 weeks old and weight 4kg according to her last pediatrician checkup. However, she does not have a baby book yet. I think our hospital did not give us one. With baby book, you can jot down baby’s milestones like her first smile, first crawl and many other firsts.

YAY!

Saving for the future

As early as today, I am thinking to get a a href=”http://www.goodsamrvinsurance.com/”>5th wheel insurance for my family. This idea has just popped in to my head because I am thinking of the future of my child. Because of the high soaring costs of education these days, husband and I need to be ready.

In fact, we are going to open another savings account this year so we will learn how to save and save and save.

Cellphone Tale

So one day, my mobile phone decided to say goodbye. I don’t know why it died on me. Firstly, its USIM card does not run anymore as its network does not pick any signal, then secondly, well, suddenly my cellphone’s battery does not last a day. I am guessing its battery is broken already.

I am so suspecting my father broke it as he was the last person who touched my phone.

HMMMMM.

I saw few funny t shirts that I would like to buy once I got my payout from my day job. It has been months since the last time I wore a shirt. Yeah. That’s true. For the last months, I love wearing girly-girly outfits like flowery dresses. I even said goodbye to wearing my pair of jeans last year and gave them out to my sisters in law.

Now, I want to buy a new pair once again because I will be attending a couple of concerts of my favorite band of all time.

What is Lochia?

It is almost three weeks since I gave birth and I am now experiencing lochia or the after birth bleeding. I can’t wait to get out of using maternity pads and be a free woman again. Now the discharge becomes a combination of light pink and brown and I think it will go in yellow or white in color real soon.

It’s hard to get pregnant, you know!?

Our Crazy Cat

I have never liked cats until hubby and I adopted a stray cat more than one year ago. I did not know that cats were really an interesting animals until this cat became part of our growing family. Also, live has been so luckier and better when she came in our life. Since then I have been looking for information on how to take good care of our cat and been giving her extra time and been buying her accessories.

However, she is kind of jealous because of the new addition to the family — I just gave birth, btw. So I am thinking to get personalized pet gift ideas from friends and the Internet. Maybe a new collar would be awesome.

Baby is out

Time to read a lot of books about new born babies. Seriously, as a first time mom, I need to learn more on how to take care of my love child. I already know how to change her diapers and how to bathe her. My mother stayed here for a week to help around but she just left and promised to come back one of these days.

My hubby is more expert than me when it comes to taking care of newly-born babies as he was the one who took care of his younger brother when my mother-in-law gave birth almost 15 years ago.

Aside from baby items, one of the Christmas gifts I received this year was memory foam toppers, perfumes, lots of clothes, bags, makeup, and more baby items. On the other hand, I was not able to shop for gifts for my family, relatives and friends because I just cannot have a decent energy and time because I am expecting.

Hubby and I are just stuck here in the unit for New Year’s Eve, cuddling our cat, Pixie.

I just cannot wait for the new year to come. I know it is going to be more exciting than the last one. I just cannot wait. Year 2012 is going to be lucky for me as I read that people who born under the Rooster is lucky. Yes. I just cannot wait.

I am writing here from our bedroom because it is colder here than the living room. I can now hear some fireworks outside our window. I need to get up to see it.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Have you started opening your gifts already? These monogrammed and engraved gifts are the best gifts that I received this year, how about you?

I also got lots of baby gifts from relatives and friends like baby clothes, toys and some educational items. How was your Christmas dinner? I did not eat a lot as the baby in the bun might get big and hard to push her out. lol.

Brisk Walking

So my OB doctor gave me a task, which was brisk walking, last Friday’s appointment with her, as my cervix has not dilated yet. She wants me to give birth before Christmas. I thought it was funny. Anyway, I am going 38 weeks this coming Friday and it excites me so much. I don’t know when the baby decides to come out but I am definitely sure it is going to happen anytime.

I started walking briskfully last Friday and have been constantly doing it until this afternoon and will continue until the baby arrives. The sweetest thing is my hubby always goes out with me to walk.

I want normal delivery!!!!

Avoiding the Holiday Rush

Hubby and I will be staying at home during the holidays. This is going to be our first time together. For the last two Christmas and New Year, we spent it either at my parent’s or my parents in law house. But now it’s going to be different.

Since I am pregnant and I am going to pop anytime, my OB doctor advised to avoid long hours of travel. I also did not shop for Christmas presents this year as I don’t have time, patience and energy to do so. Yes, I am a lazy preggor.

Anyway, I saw baby again yesterday via 2D Ultrasound and I am so glad she is in proper position, head down.
